K R I T I

As I took Shivani to my room, my sadness turned into a little anger. I turned to face her,

"Why didn't you come to the party ?" I asked with a serious expression.

"Because, I gotta know that Ansh will not be present there. I saw him fighting with her boyfriend or lover, through my window..so I thought if he won't be there what will I do ?" She stated.

"So you are friend with me for him only ? I don't mean anything to you right ?" I asked as my heart clenched.

"No kriti it's not like that" She said with a worry expression.

"No it's always like that. You talk to me because of him" I said while nodding at her behaviour.

"Yes I love him but that doesn't-"

"I have got my answers yesterday. Leave it. I am not going to talk to you again" I said and left the room. Tears coming up but I held it as I don't want to cry.

As I walked through the hall, I got bumped into Aditya bhaiya. He held my wrist so that I couldn't fall. But i jerked my hands away.

"What happened? Did someone told you something?" He asked as he could see the tears in my eyes.

"Why does it matters to you" I mummered and walked past him but he stopped me by holding my hands..

"Stop behaving like that ?" He said and I finally turned to look at him.

"Look ? I am not interested to share anything with you" I said and left the spot.

I went inside Ansh bhai's room while Siddharth, Reyansh and he was talking.

"Ansh shut up !!!" Reyansh said being annoyed. I don't know what they are talking about

"Acha thik hai. Billa hai tu" Siddharth said while looking at him.

Their gaze finally fell into me.

"What happened kriti ?" Ansh bhai stood up being concerned.

"Can you help me ?" I said to Ansh bhai and he just nodded without even listening to what is I am going to say.

We walked out of his room and I faced him.

"Can you help me in choosing college?" I asked as I always wanted to do something different from family things.

"Which college? You can join the college where I am at and why are you suddenly thinking it ?" He asked not convinced. I want to tell him about Shivani. Should I tell him ? He will get angry. I shouldn't be talking about it.

"Leave it. You are soo bewkuf" I said and went to the balcony.

As I was on the balcony, my mind was wondering about everything. I exhaled deeply. She shouldn't have done that. I looked at my phone to distract me from the things.
As I was watching videos, a video came of moving abroad. An idea popped out in my mind. Why don't I study abroad? It would be fun. Let's talk to papa.

As I entered the study, Aditya bhaiya and Papa were talking about business. Without thinking much I interrupted.

"Papa I want to study abroad"

Both narrowed their eyes at me. I don't fear of saying anything like that.

"But why ?" Papa asked.

"I want to do fashion designing" I said with confidence.

"But you can join the company in future ?" Aditya bhaiya asked but I ignored his words.

"I'll think about it" Papa said and left the study, I also left the study to look over the best countries for that.

After some time, Advit bhai called me back in the study. As I stood there while Ansh bhai and Aditya bhaiya were also present. Well Aditya bhaiya was busy with his laptop. I stood infront of Advit bhai while Ansh bhai was standing beside him. Well Aditya bhaiya was on his chairs.

"Kriti what's the need to do fashion designing? The company is big enough for you to work" Advit bhaiya said and I glared at Aditya bhaiya. It might be his plan.

"I want to be independent" I said in defence.

"Who is stopping you?" Advit bhaiya said..

"I want to do something which is different" I stated. Finally Aditya bhaiya turned to us and stood beside Ansh bhai.

"But-" Advit bhaiya was saying but I cut him off.

"You all are taking his side ?" I pointed at Aditya bhaiya who got shocked at the sudden outburst. "Who is he to tell me what to do ?" I said.

"Kriti....he is our elder brother" Ansh bhaiya said in a little voice like he is getting angry.

"Oh ? He isn't even our real brother" Just when these lines left from my mouth Advit bhaiya held my arms too tightly and glared at me with anger. Okay he never got angry with me. I got hurt by this behaviour.

"Stop saying anything that comes in your mind" He yelled. I flinched but Aditya bhaiya pulled out his hand which was holding me tightly. He pulled me towards himself and looked at the place which was now red.

"Don't behave like this Advit" He said while checking the area.

"She is really spoiled" Advit bhaiya said and looked away controlling his anger.

I pulled my hands away from Aditya bhaiya and ran to my room while crying. Did I say something wrong ? I popped into my bed and hid my face into the pillow.

After some minutes there was a knock but I didn't say anything.

"Get up" Ansh bhai said. It's his annoying behaviour to get into my room without permission.

"What is it ?" I said while sitting up.

"That was rude of you kriti" He said as he examined my hand.

"Should I apply something? Advit bhai didn't mean to hold this much sharper" He said while pulling out the cream.

"It's alright" I said while pulling back my hand.

"How can you say this to Adi bhaiya ? He loves you more than us. He genuinely cares for you. Don't misbehave with him atleast. It shouldn't matter if he is your original brother or not. When maa has announced it already that he is your big brother then he is. Thank God maa didn't get to know about this, she should have scolded you soo much" He said in serious note. I looked down  being sad.

"Well. ....Adi bhaiya didn't say anything to Advit bhai and me.. papa told him to talk about this" He said and I looked at him. Oh he didn't say anything.

"Can I have a talk ?" We heard Aditya bhaiya's voice from the door. Ansh bhai left the room as Aditya bhaiya entered the room. He sat infront of me and I looked down because of my behaviour.

"Here this is for you" He said while giving me a form. I read it- wait, it's...a college form ? I looked up to see him. Still expressionless but his eyes are soft.

"But papa ?" I asked nervously as I think papa hasn't agreed yet.

"Don't worry. I will talk to him. But before joining the college complete your boards so that you can move next year or so" He said while nodding. I couldn't control myself and hugged him immediately.

He froze but then he caressed my hair. I pulled away and looked down.

"Sorry" I said realising my mistake..

"It's nothing kiddo. At last I have only one sister" He said and I looked at him.

"I have an important meeting. I have to go now okay ?" He said and left the room.

I laid down on the bed. I think I was wrong about Aditya bhaiya. Shame on me.

R E Y A N S H

"Tera Ghar hai ? wow" Ansh exclaimed as we came to Italy after taking permission from his father, well it was her mother who gave the permission. I nodded.

(This is your house ?)

In this house only I stay here. Uncle and all live in another house. Well i don't think I should share that.

"Bebo tu bhi ameer nikla" He popped into the couch.

(Bebo you are also rich)

"Stop calling me that" I said and sat onto another couch.

"Let's go somewhere" He suddenly came too close to my face in excitement. I jerked him back.

"Dur se bhi bol skta hai" I said while glaring at him.

(You can say it while being away)

At last we both got ready in our fits. Me in black tshirt and a jacket in red black above it and a black jeans. Him in white tshirt underneath and a blue jacket over it and a black jeans.

As we reached the club, we directly sat on the drinking section. And what after that ? We both drank alot and talked about various things.

Just then luna spotted me and came towards me. I covered my face in annoyance.

"Hello Reyansh" She said as she stood too close to me.

"OMG you got a girlfriend?" Ansh exclaimed being shocked.

"She isn't my girlfriend" I said while gritting my teeths while she blushed.

"One day I'll be" She said she stood in between my legs. I looked away in annoyance.

"Ahm..... something fishy" Ansh said and looked away to give us privacy? What the fuck.

"I thought you will come today too" She said while running her fingers on my jaw. I held her fingers up and looked into her eyes finally.

"I am busy Luna, can you see that ?" I said in anger.

"Anger sex is the best experience I have with you" She said while coming close to my face. I jerked my face away.

"Oh common you can give me a kiss atleast" She said with a pout.

"I don't give kisses. We have the deal and act like that. Don't try to act close" I said being serious as it's really soo annoying for me.

"Okay then" She said and stood away from me finally. "Enjoy with you handsome Friend" She said and winked at Ansh. Ansh smiled at her.

As she finally left the spot, Ansh turned to look at me.

"Tell me who she was ?" He asked being curious.

"Nothing just a...." I stopped not knowing what should I say.

"Mistress?" He asked.

I shrugged at his words as I also don't know what can I say. Life is stressed and I need some kind of relief or fun maybe ? As per the guidelines of my Uncle.

"She is pretty" He said while looking at her direction.

"You fell in love again" I said sarcastically.

"Abey woh nhi. I mean she is pretty and into you" He said in defence.

"You and your cheap brain cell" I said and took my wine.

"I am not sitting and crying over a girl. I will enjoy my life without any stress. Like you said" He said while picking up his drink too. When did I say to stare at girls ? Anyways.

After drinking, we left the club and thought of having a walk. I wasn't that much drunk so it was alright to me.

Ansh was yapping about his life like how much he loves his ex, he won't marry anyone. This is the 50th time he is repeating this and I am annoyed at this. But let him yapp.

As we were walking, I took out my cigarette and saw a man was misbehaving with a woman or doing something. As I wasn't interested I turned away and enjoyed myself. But soon I heard some noise and looked in the direction.

Shit- Ansh ? I instantly went towards them to know what happened and heard Ansh saying

"Don't you have manners "

I stood a little away to see what he was going to do.
And just the girl slapped him. I choked on my laugh. Ansh hands on his cheeks while he was looking at the girl.

"We were shooting" She shouted.

"Hn toh tumlog ko bolna chahiye tha na Marne wali ky baat thi ?" He said and they looked at him dumb folded..ofc how will they understand Hindi ?

(You should have told me this. Why did you slapped me?)

Ansh came and stood beside me still holding his cheeks, with a pout.

"Aya maja ?" I said and looked at him. He glared at me and was about to hit me but I ran away immediately. He chased me and I laughed at his reaction.

After 15 days of vacation Ansh bhai came back, we all were sitting on the dining table for our dinner.

Me beside Aditya bhaiya, Ansh bhai with Advit bhaiya across us. And maa papa sitting together.

"Very bad you enjoyed it alone" I said with a pout.

"Hn toh I was with my friend. What would you do there ? You would have gotten bored" He said while eating his food.

"Look Adi bhaiya" I said and turned to Aditya bhaiya who was just eating his food. He looked at me then at Ansh, might not knowing what to say.

"You could have taken her with you. She is your sister and I don't think Reyansh would have minded" Aditya bhaiya said while looking at Ansh bhai.

His mouth was open- shocked at what Aditya bhaiya said.

"Okay I'll remember this form next time" Ansh bhai said and glared at me.

"Ye dono achanak itne close kaise aagye ?" Ansh bhai mummered to Advit bhai.

(When did they came this much close ?)

"Jab tu dur gya tha" Advit bhai joked and Ansh bhai held his chest like his heart is clenced. Yes in a few days i got little close with Aditya bhaiya. He isn't that bad. And after that day I didn't behave bad. Advit bhai also apologised to me by giving me bag full of chocolates.

(When you were away)

"Ab toh meri shamat aajayegi" He said with a dramatic tone.

(Now I am gone)

"Khana Khao shanti se" Papa said and we all focussed on our food.

(Eat your food silently)

After dinner, I went to my room and laid on my bed.
Being bored i called Rohit. But his phone was busy. At this hour ? Strange.

Next day, i took a bath before heading to school and sat beside Ansh bhai who was talking in a call.

"Who is it ?" I asked and grabbed an apple.

He ignored me. I mocked his expression and focused on my apple.

"Nhi bhai.....aise mat bol....nhi nhi mere ghar mein aise bheno ke baare....mein mai nhi sunga....bilkul nhi....ho nhi skta" He said and cut the call. Advit bhai also came to have breakfast and sat accross us..

"Kon tha ?" I asked as he sounded serious. What happened suddenly? Were they cursing me ?

(Who was it ?)

"Siddharth aur Reyansh the" He said. Now what that billa said to me? Well i get to know about this nickname that day.

"They were telling me to respect you" He said in a serious tone "And I said aisa nhi hota hai mere ghar mein"

I slapped him and he held his cheeks in response.

"Gadhe kahi ke" I shouted and stood up from my place.

(Idiot)

"Tumhari toh ...." He also stood and started chasing me.

(You...)

"Mujhe mara na toh dekh lena" I said while running fast.

(If you hit me then I'll show you)

"Sab dekh lunga. Chipkali kahi ki..idhar aao tum" He said while chasing me.

(I will see everything. Chipkali come here first)

I was behind the sofa while he was infront of me. One wrong move and I am gone.

"Tum dono band karoge yeh?" Advit bhaiya said from the dining table.

(Can you two pls stop ?)

Just then he stood up on the sofa to catch me. I ran in the opposite direction and saw Aditya bhaiya coming from study while fixing his watch. An idea came into my mind and stood behind him as a shield. He looked at me being confused..just then Ansh bhai entered the chat and stopped on his track.

"Bhaiya dekhiye pareshan kar rhe hai woh mujhe" I said while pointing at Ansh bhai.

(Bhaiya look he is teasing me)

"What is this Ansh ? You are grown up. You are 20 and acting like 15" He said. I showed my tongue at Ansh bhai ,he just glared at me..

"Bhaiya she slapped me. Dekho Gaal laal hogya mera" He said while showing his face.

"Harkatein hi waisi hai" Aditya bhaiya said and took my hands into his and guided me towards the dining area. I clicked my tongue at Ansh bhai. He was fuming in anger.

As we all sat for breakfast. I enjoyed alot because I won an argument against Ansh bhai.

"Sar pe chadha ke rkha hai" Ansh bhai mummered while shaking his head.

(He has put her on his head)

"Shanti se kha le warna tujhe chazze pe chadha denge woh tumhe" Advit warned and I giggled at this. Advit bhai also takes my side.

(Eat your food or he will put you on the rack)

"Okay I'll get late for school" I said and grabbed my bag.

"I'll ...drop you kriti" Ansh bhai said with a mischievous smile.

"No....no need for that" I said being scared.

"I am going to college na. I can drop you" He said while coming towards me.

"Aditya bhaiya pls drop me at school" I said immediately.

"Okay" Aditya bhaiya said while getting up. I mocked Ansh bhai and left for school happily.
