25. Why not me ?

Me and Reyansh both were going to mansion for breakfast as Maa called us.

"And you know then we-"

"Saale behen hai wo meri"

(She is my sister)

"Oh...I'm sorry" I was telling him everything in happiness and forgot that she is his sister.

"Just be happy"

I looked at him. He indeed cares for her.

As we reached the Mansion, I saw all being soo happy. But why are they soo happy ?

"What's going on ?"

Kriti came towards us and fed us mithai. Did I missed some tea ? No way !!!!.

"Dhani bhabhi is pregnant"

"Really ?" I went and hugged her immediately.

"Bhaiya apki gaadi itni fast nikli ?" and Advit bhaj just smacked my head. Why does everyone just hit me whenever I say something?.

(Bhaiya you are so fast)

"Anya bhabhi ? Apka kab aa rha hai ?"  To which she immediately went to kitchen. Yaar ye log itna sharmate kyu hai ?

(When is yours coming Anya bhabhi ?)

"Pareshan karne mein bada maja ata hai n ?" Maa held my ear.

(You like to tease her too much ?)

"Oww owww" I hugged her immediately. I really missed her.

It's looking like , now family will be complete soon.

Later that night me and Reyansh were going to club but Tara said she is bored inside the apartment so I took her with us.

We both are sitting infront of the bar while she is vibing on the dance floor.

"Tujhe pata hai Singhania ghar ki ladkiya ye sab nhi karti ?"

(You know Singhania's girls don't do these things ?)

"Hn toh unhe konsa pata hai ki wo bahu hai unki. Let her enjoy"

(They don't even know she is their sister in law)

I saw she was coming towards me with a smile. I turned to take my drink but someone grabbed my collar and I felt pairs of lips on mine. I kissed back as I thought it's Tara.

"Ansh" I heard Reyansh voice and opened my eyes. My eyes fell on the girl.

I pulled away like my body got a current. What she is doing here ? I turned to look at tara but she was looking beyond angry. Before I can say something she was about to do something to shivani.

I immediately stood up and held tara in place by waist.

"How dare you-"

Shivani's secretary came between us.

I saw the tears in Shivani's eyes. Her eyes were on my hands which was on Tara's waist.

"How you dare to kiss my husband?" Tara asked while trying to free herself.

"Husband? He is my fiance" Shivani said.

I am cooked. Tara looked at me with confusion. I turned to look at shivani as she asked "Can we talk ?"

I went with her to a corner.

"What was that ?" She said. Her voice contains a pain which I can't analyse.

"She is your wife ?"

I nodded.

"Then what am I ? I'm your fiance Ansh"

"Basically you aren't Shivani. Our marriage is just fixed by our family. We aren't engaged till now"

She looked away to gather her courage.

"You love her ?" She asked without looking at me.

"Yess"

"Why not me ?" She finally looked at me.

"I'm in love with you for a very long time.  You might think I liked you just because our marriage was fixed but that's not true. I liked you from the beginning. My friendship with kriti got ruined but I cared less because I love you. Can't you see it?"

"I'm sorry."

She came forward and hugged me and started crying. Why I'm feeling bad for her ? Idk but I never felt the same way for her.

I caressed her back to calm her down. After some minutes she looked at me while still hugging.

"I love you"

My eyes fell on Tara and Reyansh. They were standing there since when ? Did she heard everything?

As she caught me looking at her direction she left the club.

Shivani pulled away and wiped her tears.

"I am happy that you found a true love Ansh. I hope she will keep you happy.....just....go get her" She said with a sad smile. I gave her my handkerchief. Ik I should ignore her but Maa never taught me this. She always said to be good with girls and I'll.

I ran outside the club and saw Tara walking ahead while Reyansh was behind her. I went towards them but after seeing me she ran further away. I was about to go behind her but Reyansh held my hand.

"Take it" He gave me Tara's sandles. Is she walking barefoot? I saw down Reyansh isn't wearing shoes. He might have gave her.

"I'm sorry" I said

"Not your fault completely"

I hugged him. No one understands me like he does.

"Stay away from me" He pushed me away. I just smiled.

"Okay I need to talk to your sister" I ran into the direction where she went. OMG she went to far away.

I held her wrist but she jerked it away.

"I'm sorry"

"Your sorry will fix everything?"

"Tara...I'm not a guy who doesn't like family. My family is my life. I don't know if you can understand my feelings but I am too scared to tell them the truth and i never loved shivani"

"Why did you hugged her"

"She was crying and ....and I can't help myself from comforting. It's my fault but....trust me that doesn't mean I have feeling for her"

She just hugged me.

"You aren't angry now?"

She shook her head. Oh that was easy. I thought I have to try like Advit bhai. She is easy to handle.

"I won't do this again"

"Adi....leave....aah...me-" I said. He just came back from the trip in the morning. It's still early but he doesn't need time to touch me.

"You think I can ?" He said while moving slowly inside me. The duvet is over us as he didn't liked the light from the window. He says during sex it's good to have no light. Such a pervert.

"You...just...came right now" I tried to push his shoulder but he didn't moved.

"I missed- I can't stop" He didn't completed his sentence. He can't accept that he missed me ? I looked away. But he turned my head towards him and kissed my lips.

"Don't look away"

"Then say that you missed me like i did"

He nuzzled his face in my neck and kissed it multiple times. He suddenly hit a particular spot that made me roll my eyes in pleasure.

"Adi...hmm"

"Yes baby ?"

He is teasing me even tho he knows. He always do that. Like he enjoy it the most.

"You....won't say?"

He smiled and kissed my forehead.

"I missed-"

"GET OUT FORM THE HOUSE"

We stopped as we heard papaji's voice from downstairs. We looked at each other in confusion.

He pulled away from and we adjusted our clothes immediately. We are smelling like sex. He was about to go out of the room but I held his wrist. He looked at me in confusion. I just sprayed some perfume on me and him.

"You are ashamed of it ?" He asked in a teasing tone.

"Papaji is shouting"

I distracted him and it worked. We reached downstairs and saw papaji sitting on the couch while kriti and Maa were giving him massage and water.

My eyes fleakered to side and saw Ansh. But he wasn't alone. A girl ? What she is wearing ???? I turned to look at Aditya. He looked soo confused. He was staring at them like he was trying to process everything.

"What's going on?" I asked in whisper

"How will I know ? I was just fucking you seconds ago"

I hit his shoulder. "You know everything what's happening in the house right ?"

"Not after you came and blew my mind away with you"

I looked away in disbelief. Is he trying to crack joke in the middle of the stressed situation?

"You sure I have to do this ?" I asked Reyansh who is sitting on the driver seat. It's early in the morning and he said to announce my marriage news today. He isn't worng. Shivani knew it and it's not good. What if she says it to my family ? Instead of her I should announce it first.

"Best of luck" Reyansh said like it's soo simple to make my parents understand.

"Stay here with tara" I walked out of the car. It's not good to take tara with me. But she insisted to come with us.

Okay I need strength. What I did was wrong. I have to tell my family now.

I stepped inside and saw Maa and papa sitting on couch. No one is up till now ?

Suddenly Dhani bhabhi came and gave them tea.

"You came ? Want some tea ?" She asked and I declined her offer politely.

"I want to talk about something" I said and both maa and papa looked at me.

Suddenly Advit bhai also came from upstairs.

"Is it important?" He asked. I nodded.

"I...me...no....we....no no I mean"

"Say clearly" Advit bhai said.

How ?? I am scared. Okay i need to say it anyway.

I stared at the ground for like 10 minutes to gather some courage. I did many mistakes right ? They never did much. They just scolded me. Nothing more. I can handle-

"Don't tell me you again got into fight-" Papa stopped in mid sentence. I looked up and saw him looking behind my back.

My back ? I turned to see and. Tara ???? Why did she came inside ? Oh holy shit.

I turned to face my family again.

"Ansh what's-" Advit bahi was saying but Tara cut him suddenly.

"I'm his wife" she stood beside me and held my hands to give strength? Strength ? It's giving me stress.

"I can explain-"

"That's were you busy at ?" papa asked in anger.

"Papa-"

"GET OUT FROM THE HOUSE" He shouted. Maa immediately held him as shouting is bad for him. I looked down. Kriti also came probably because of shouting. I saw Anya bhabhi and Adi bhaiya coming down too. So adi bhaiya came back ? Double problem.

"That's why I always said don't spoil him too much" He said it to maa. Maa didn't said anything. She might be hurt as well. Papa got up and went towards his room or study probably. Advit bhai and Dhani bhabhi also went with him as Maa and kriti followed papa.

Aditya bhaiya looked at me but he just shook his head and he also went towards papa. But Anya bhabhi didn't.

She came towards us.

"Is she your wife ?" She asked with smile. But it won't change the fact that papa is angry with me. I nodded.

"She is pretty. But you should have make her wear appropriate clothes" i looked at Tara. Right. She is wearing a knee length pink frock.

"If you are happy then don't worry everything will be alright" Anya bhabhi said. I smiled at her. So weak not because I was tired but because I hurt all of them somehow.

We both went to the car and sat inside.

"She didn't listened to me" Reyansh said as he pulled the car away from the mansion.

"It's ....alright"

"Don't worry Ansh. I'm with you"

I nodded.

But this is the first time papa said me to get out. He never said anything like that.

"Atleast say something to him" Reyansh said to Tara.

"We survived"

Me and Reyansh both looked at her in disbelief. What even she is saying ?

"Uhm...don't mind her. She doesn't know how to act in family matters" Reyansh said. Right she doesn't know the meaning of family. I should remember that. But it kind of hurted me. How will I apologise to papa now ?

As we reached the apartment, Reyansh cooked breakfast for us. We ate in silence. My brain isn't working. What if he never forgave me ? What if I can't be with my family ?

After breakfast I saw Reyansh wearing his shoes like he is going somewhere.

"Are you going somewhere?"

"Yeah. I have work to do Ansh. I need to be in Jaipur"

"But..." I don't want to be alone right now. And at this point I don't want Reyansh to go away for any reason.

I need his company.

"I'll come back don't worry. Whenever I'll be free or get a chance I will come back" He side hugged me and went out of the apartment. What will I do ? Who will calm my thoughts? Even if I had this big family i never talked about my thoughts to anyone. I used to talk to kriti but she isn't here and Reyansh too left.

I'm scared.

A D I T Y A

At breakfast no one said anything about the morning thing. Papa is really too angry for what Ansh did. He could have asked before doing anything like that but he never listen to anyone.

After breakfast I went to the room to grab my files which I left on the couch as soon i reached house.

I heard anklets sound coming in my direction. I know she is coming to talk about the morning thing.

I turned to look at her.

"Looks like you were waiting for me" She said while coming close. I grabbed her waist and pulled her towards me.

"Ofc. Your presence brings me peace"

"Aditya ?"

I know what's coming and I am ready. She only thinks about others.

"What will happen now ? Anshji ? He was soo hurt."

"He would be"

"You won't help him ?"

"What can I do ?"

"You are his elder brother. You should help him"

"Just because I'm elder doesn't mean everything is in my hands"

"But papaji will listen to you , you know that"

"Ik but I won't say anything. Ansh deserved it"

"How can you say it for your brother?"

I just shrugged. I cannot make her understand but Ansh deserves that. I kissed her forehead before heading out of the mansion for office.

As I reached office there were soo many works. Ik Advit might have tried to finish them but it's not easy. I can understand.

After doing such a long work, we both finally thought to leave the office.

"You go Advit. I'll come after some time"

"Don't tell me bhaiya you are planning to go to spare house"

I just laughed at his assumption. But right now a important work is left.

I reached the apartment where Ansh and his wife is staying. Reyansh's apartment. The day Anya entered my life, I lost my focus. This thing happened because of my lack of observation. I should be careful.

I rang the bell and Ansh opened the door.

"Bhaiya ?"

"Kyu aur kon ayega ?" I entered the apartment with all essentials to survive for atleast a month.

(Then who will come?)

"Thank you..I thought-"

"You thought I'll be angry ?" I arranged the things in the kitchen.

"Why will I ? You are my baby brother" He came and hugged me. I patted his back. It's difficult but he have to face the consequences. But I'll help him in every possible way.

His wife came but what's she wearing. I immediately looked away. Ansh noticed it and told her to change. Our parents aren't conservative but we should respect the tradition too.

"My cards.."

"Ik papa asked to block your cards.. I brought everything that's needed okay ? And if you need anything just call me"

He nodded "let's eat together".

"I would love to but Anya might be waiting and it's already late" I patted his cheeks. After arranging the things I drive off to mansion.

I entered the room and as expected she was studying. As soon she noticed me she went to kitchen to bring food.

I sat at the couch. Why life is not normal ? Hope Ansh is doing well.

I took out whiskey from bag but there were no glass in which i drink it so I took it out in a normal glass. That's why I go to spare house to have drinks because papa don't like these things so I don't do these things but sometimes I need these. But I can't go to spare house because Anya can't sleep alone at night properly.

"I should change first" I went to Washroom to change.

But when I returned I saw Anya already waiting for me on the couch. I sat beside her.

"So hows-"

"Shhh"

I stared at her. What happened suddenly ? She never say like this..

She turned her face to me.

"You are such a bad brother...you know Anshji doesn't know how to cook"

Intresting. Thanks for the information. It's my first time in the family.

She threw her body on me and kissed my lips. I kissed back. But wait- she is tasting like. I pushed her a little away and looked at the glass. Did she ?

"Anya did you drank whiskey ?"

"I thought that's water" She said with such a cute expression that I can't even get angry on her.

She pulled herself away from me..

"You are soo rude" She said with a pout. I chuckled at her reaction. I never thought someone can be this cute.

"Why are ....you laughing angry bird ?"

"Huh ? Did you just called me angry bird ? So you call me that ?"

"Yes ?? You think I'm scared ?"

I shook my head. How can I scare her ? I put my elbows on my knees and put my head on my palms to get a better view of her.

She is yapping but what ? Idk because I'm already too lost in her beauty and cute expressions.

"I get jealous whenever you talk to other girls"

"I never did that"

"You might have when I'm not arround you"

"I can't stand woman around me except you"

"Lier"

"You know if papa will know this thing he will throw you out of the house too"

"You want me to go away from this house" She said with a cracked voice.

Oh shit did I made her cry ? I panicked

"No...I was just joking"

She started punching me. I just laughed at her reaction.

"Arey...papa doesn't like drinks and all these things"

"It's not mine. It's your"

"And you are mine" i pulled her towards me but she pulled away. She is too cute.

"You really love me right ?"

I stared at her. She is too drunk. It might be her first time..

She came closer to me and hugged me.

"Because I love you"

Something in my heart shifted because of it. Because of confession or her drunk state ? I can't figure out.

She looked at me.

"You are soo good for me"

"But I married to for the orphanage"

"Huh?"

"Nothing" I pushed the strands of her hairs behind her ear.

"You know ? I always think about you"

"Me too" I said.

She fell sleep in my arms while yapping about how much she loves me. How much she cares for me.

I felt bad. Idk why but I just didn't felt right. Is this what I wanted ? This is what I needed ? Do i deserve her ?
