05. Away from me

A N Y A

Today I'm going home as it's a ritual . I wore a light pink saree . Rohan bhaiya will come anytime . I don't wanna go home but I can't say no as it's a ritual.

Aditya came outside of the washroom wearing a white shirt . He is looking handsome.

I should tell him that I'm going to my parent's house .

"Aditya ....I'm going to my parent's house " I said turning to face him .

He just nodded . Is it hard to say a word for him ?

I grabbed my bag and walked towards the door . Will he not say good bye ?

I went downstairs and saw my brother talking to Papaji . I touched his feet .

"Enjoy karna beta" he gave me blessings .

I hugged Rohan bhaiya . I missed him .

Soon I sat inside the car . I looked upstairs if Aditya would come to see me off . But he didn't . Rohan bhaiya started the car .

"So how's Aditya" he asked

A jerk

"Pretty good" I said with a smile .

"Hope he will give you the happiness you always deserved Anya" he said .

I looked outside the window.

Happiness? Will I ever get it ?

I pushed the thought away as Ik it's not good for me to think about it.

"Bhaiya how about I go to Siya's house ?" I asked

He looked at me and then again at road

"Papa will get angry ,Anya" he said .

"Atleast let's ask her to join me" I said

He nodded .

We stopped infront of her house . Today is Sunday , she might be sleeping rn .

I knocked the door . Her mom opened the door . I took blessings from her and went to Siya's room .

"Siya can you pls company me in my house ?" I asked her while sitting beside her .

"Great ....It will be great excuse to go out" she said .

I looked at her being confused .

"Arey ....I have a date with Harshit . I was thinking how to escape from the house" she said. 

I nodded slowly. She isn't coming for me . I'm not hurt . I can understand.

She came with us giving her mother an excuse that she will stay with me today .

We dropped her at a cafe. And went towards the house .

I went inside and touched feet of mom and dad .

I went straight to my room .

I don't wanna talk to them .

I still wonder who gave my dad 90 lakhs for me ? .

In evening I was soo bored so I thought I'll go back mansion by myself. I lied to mom that Aditya will pick me up at the store nearby.  Ik he won't come .

Atleast I'll have some time for myself.

In morning, I got a good lecture from mom about not saying her "bye" . So she said me to pick her up . Yes I have to , afterall I don't say no to her .

After getting know about she isn't at her parents' house from her brother I got shocked .

Where did she go ?

I searched for her everywhere in the city. Wtf now ? She isn't even picking her phone up .

Okay I need to calm down .

I grabbed my laptop and tried to track her location.

After 10 minutes or so I tracked her location. Jungle ? What the hell ?

I started driving as fast as I can towards her . What if something- no nothing will happen to her. 

It's raining. Is she okay ? . Anya ...pls be safe . The jungle isn't a good place .

Crying behind the tree with a dead body . Rain

"Help"

"Maaa!!!"

"Papa!!!"

Present

I saw her in the rain walking freely .

I stopped the car and went towards her and grabbed her arms painfully .

"What the fuck is wrong with you Anya Srivastav" I yelled

She looked at me with shocked expression.

We are getting wet due to rain .

"What- why are you here?" She asked

"Why . I . Am . Here ?" I said while gritting my teeth . "Do you have any idea where you are ? And why are you roaming in the jungle at this moment?"

"I- what's your problem ?" She said

I inhaled sharply .

"What if something would happen to you ?" I said

"I'm not kid that something will happen to me" she said with raising her voice .

I glared at her .

"You know what ? I regret marrying you" I said and left her arm .

"Like I was dying to marry you" she said and looked away .

I looked at her . Is something is off ? Why do I care ?

"Get inside the car" I said

"I'll not go with you" she said still not looking at me .

I don't have time for this nonsense.

I took her in my arms .

"What are you doing leave me" she stated kicking her legs .

I put her inside the the passenger seat . I looked at her we were soo close. 

"Why are you doing this ?" She asked in little voice .

"Because I'm your husband" I said

Her eyes are speaking the things she can't say with her mouth.

Does she needs something? Why is she sad?

She looked away as tears started forming in her eyes .

I pulled away and went to driver seat .

She is facing away from me . I turned on the heater as she might catch cold because of the rain.

I started driving .

"Don't ever pull this move again . If you again went anywhere without telling me , the consequences will not be good" i said while driving .

"Why do you care ?" She said looking at me .

I looked at her for a second then again focused on the road .

"Because I'm your husband" I said

Because I was scared my inner voice said .

She again looked away .

"What happened?" I tried to ask

"Nothing" she said slowly .

We went inside the mansion .

"Oh god !!! Ky hogya ? Tum log bhenge hue kyu ho ?" Maa ran towards us with towel .

She wiped the water from our head. 

"Go to your room and change" Maa said .

We went to room together.

We both picked out clothes and grabbed the door of washroom together.

I looked at her eyes and left the door .

She got shocked.

"It's alright. It's your washroom . You can go first" she said

"Our" I corrected

She nodded .

"You go change inside . I'll change in another washroom" I said and went outside of the room to change .

I changed into another saree.  He really cares ? He came to pick me up .

It's really hard to understand him .

In Anya's house

"Dad you can't take the orphanage from me" I said with fear.

"You have your rich husband. What will you do with orphanage?" He asked .

"It's special for me . Pls don't do this" i begged

"Just sign the papers Anya" He said in anger .

"I'll not" I said in defence.

"Then get out from my house" he said in anger. I ran to my room .

I sat beside the bathtub as tears started flowing from my eyes like rivers .

Why bad things happens to me always?

I stopped crying as I heard a knock

"Anya ? Are you done?" Aditya asked .

"Y..yeah" I wiped my tears and went outside from the washroom.

He has already changed into grey pants and navy blue tshirt.

"Let's go maa is calling us for dinner" he said

I don't feel like eating .

"I don't wanna eat . You go and eat something" I said

"Why ? You haven't ate anything" he said

"I'm full" I said and sat on bed .

Why is she lieing?

Her brother said she will probably not eat anything in her parent's house. And Ik she haven't ate anything and I can't let her starve .

"Why are you doing this?"

"Because I'm your husband "

I grabbed her arms . She stopped me

"What are you doing?" She asked .

"To make sure you are full" I said and started dragging her towards the dining table .

All were looking at me with shocked expressions.

I sat on my chair and made her sit beside me .

We started eating but I can see from my side eyes she isn't eating anything.

After dinner I asked Ramu kaka to send a plate of food in my room .

I sat in the couch . She is in the washroom. I waited till she came out .

"Come here" I said

She came towards me and I grabbed her arms and made her sit beside me .

"What ?" She asked .

"Nothing" I said and tore a piece of chappathi and put infront of her mouth .

"Huh?" She asked in confusion.

"Just eat" I said

"I don't want to" she said

"For me"  I said and put the piece inside her mouth .

"So you are still a student at medical college?" I tried to ignore her stares

She nodded

I talked to her while making her eat . After eating we sat in silence.

"Why did you-" i cut her question

"Go to sleep" I said

She looked at me with teary eyes .

What's going on ? Why is she crying ?

She hugged me out of blue . I didn't moved . Maybe she needs this . I patted her back .
